With magnificent heights, unconventional humps and uncanning techniques of survival, the camel is without a doubt one of the most loved animals on this planet. Though our knowledge regarding these animals is often restricted to their innate ability to survive without water for days at a time, the truth is that there is a lot more to this fabulous creature. Found predominantly in the middle eastern part of the world, the camel has been for centuries been the solid pillar of support in the Arab traders journey for business, providing him with not only the facility of travel but also with meat, shelter and hide. Though it would seem that camels do not have many species since more then often the camels seen on TV are the same with the same golden color and humped back, but it will come as a surprise that there are actually lots of camel types.

Wild camels are usually adapted in arid areas and hills where food and water is scarce. These camels are found to move about in groups and they move widely. They are densely spread across vast areas searching for food and water.
